Your first visit, from the front door to the plan

Walking into a new office is easier when you already know what happens inside it. Here is the whole visit, step by step, with pricing out in the open.

Step by step

What happens during the first appointment?

  1. A conversation, not a clipboard lecture

We start by listening: what hurts, when it started, what it is keeping you from doing, and what you have already tried. Bring every question you have. First visits get a full 45 to 60 minutes so none of this is rushed.

  2. A thorough exam, with X-rays on-site when needed

Dr. Edwards examines how your spine and joints actually move. When X-rays are clinically indicated, we take them right here in the office, no second appointment across town, and they are included in the new patient offer.

  3. Your findings, explained in plain language

Before anyone adjusts anything, Dr. Edwards personally walks you through what he found, what he recommends, and what it costs. You will be able to picture exactly what is going on in your own spine.

  4. A gentle first adjustment

If care makes sense and you are comfortable proceeding, your first adjustment happens with everything already explained. Most people leave wondering why they waited so long to come in.

First-visit and pricing questions

How long does the first visit take?

Plan on 45 to 60 minutes for your first appointment so nothing is rushed. Follow-up visits typically run 15 to 20 minutes, which fits inside most lunch breaks.

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most patients are surprised by how gentle it is. Dr. Edwards uses only the pressure needed to help a joint move, explains each step before it happens, and adapts his technique to your age, size, and comfort.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans and verify your benefits before your first appointment, so you know your coverage walking in. No referral is required in Oklahoma.

What does the new patient offer include?

The $149 new patient offer covers two visits: your consultation, a complete examination, X-rays when clinically indicated, your report of findings, and your first adjustments. It exists so cost never blocks finding out what is wrong.

Will I definitely get X-rays?

Only when they are clinically indicated. For adults with significant or long-standing pain they often are, and our X-ray suite is on-site so there is no second trip. For children they are almost never needed, and we always explain the reasoning first.

What if I just want to ask questions first?

Call us. We would rather answer your questions before you book than have you guess. There is no charge for a phone conversation, and no pressure afterward.

Will I be expected to commit to a long plan?

No. After your exam you get an honest recommendation and clear pricing, and the decision stays yours. We offer several ways to pay, including prepay discounts, with no pressure to pick one, and visit frequency drops as you improve.

Ready when you are

Same-day and next-day appointments are available in most cases, and a phone call costs nothing.
